Website hosting assurance

Know what keeps the site available—and what proves it.

Evolved Designs helps organizations turn hosting promises into an inspectable operating record across uptime, monitoring, recovery, incident response, ownership, and support.

Bring a public site, the current hosting owner, and one known risk. Keep credentials, recovery codes, private logs, customer records, and confidential procurement material out of the contact form.

Four evidence layers

Replace a hosting claim with a repeatable check.

01

Availability and monitoring

Define the service boundary, uptime method, planned maintenance, alert ownership, escalation path, and the response evidence a responsible owner can review.

02

Security operations

Document supported software, patch responsibility, encrypted transport and storage, least-privilege access, threat monitoring, incident notification, and dependency ownership.

03

Backup and recovery

Name what is backed up, retention, storage separation, recovery targets, restore owners, test frequency, and the latest successful recovery evidence.

04

Portability and support

Clarify domain, DNS, data, code, licenses, environments, administrative access, recurring costs, service levels, exit steps, and a clean handoff path.

Evidence boundary

A plan, a control, and an attestation are different things.

Hosting readiness can document architecture, operating controls, recovery tests, support ownership, and remaining gaps. If a buyer requires a current SOC 2 report, certification, or independent audit, treat that requirement as a separate qualification gate. Do not imply that implementation evidence is an external attestation.

  • Plan: what should happen, who owns it, and when it is reviewed.
  • Control: what is actually configured or performed, with current evidence.
  • Test: whether monitoring, notification, backup, restore, failover, and handoff work as intended.
  • Attestation: what an authorized independent party has examined and is prepared to state.

Current public guidance

Plan recovery before a failure makes the decisions for you.

NIST's Cybersecurity Framework 2.0 connects governance, protection, detection, response, and recovery, including verifying backup and restored-asset integrity. CISA's ransomware guidance emphasizes offline or otherwise protected backups and regular restore testing. Use those principles to define evidence that fits the actual site and risk.

Need ongoing ownership after the first gap?

Connect the evidence record to a responsible operating rhythm.

Managed website support joins protection, publishing, measurement, prioritized improvement, and a documented handoff path without taking control away from the owner.
